Schreibly exists because the writing tools we used either pretended only one language existed, or treated the second as an afterthought. We’re building one place to write — and to write well — in English and German.
Our mission
Help anyone who writes across English and German do it with the same care and confidence as a fluent speaker — without juggling separate tools, prompts or settings for each language.
What we believe
- Bilingual by default. Suggestions should feel native in en-US and de-DE — not translated from one canonical language.
- Quiet on what you meant. We fix mistakes, soften clutter and surface tone shifts. We never rewrite your voice.
- Privacy you can audit. Your text is sent to the backend only when you ask for a check, and never used to train anyone else’s model.
